دراسة مقارنة ألنماط الهوية األكاديمية لدى الطالبات العمانيات والطالبات السعوديات يف ضوء بعض املتغريات.

A comparative study of academic identity patterns between Omani and Saudi female students according to some variables.

This study aimed to compare the academic identity patterns of Omani and Saudi female students according to some variables. The researchers relied on the comparative descriptive approach to analyze the data collected from a sample that consisted of 529 female students from both the College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University and from the College of Education at the University of Hail, Saudi Arabia and also used the Academic Identity Scale (Isaacson & Aim, 2008). The results of the study revealed that there are statistically significant differences in the patterns of academic identity among female students in the pattern of academic identity achieved in favor of Saudi female students. The results show that there are statistically significant differences in the pattern of identity according to the variable academic year in favor of fourth year female students. There are also statistically significant differences related to students’ GPAs for all types of academic identity. In addition, differences were found in identity dimensions based on the variable number of family members favoring families with 6-8 individuals. The results also found that there were no statistically significant differences in identity attributed to birth order and parents’ educational levels. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

هدفت هذه الدراسة إىل مقارنة أنماط الهوية األكاديمية لدى الطالبات العمانيات والطالبات السعوديات يف ضوء بعض املتغريات، واعتمد ِّ الباحثون عىل املنهج الوصفي املقارن، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 529 ً طالبة من طالبات كلية الرتبية بجامعة السلطان قابوس وطالبات كلية الرتبية بجامعة حائل باململكة العربية السعودية، واستخدم الباحثون مقياس الهوية األكاديمية )2008, Aim & Isaacson ،) ِّ وكشفت نتائج الد ًّ راسة عن وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا يف أنماط الهوية األكاديمية بني الطالبات يف نمط الهوية األكاديمية املحققة لصالح ًّ الطالبات السعوديات، كما توصلت النتائج إىل وجود فروق دالة إحصائي ً ا يف نمط الهوية املحققة وفق ّ ا ملتغري السنة الدراسية لصالح ًّ طالبات السنة الرابعة، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائي ً ا وفقا ملتغري املستوى األكاديمي لجميع أنماط الهوية األكاديمية، ووجود فروق يف نمط ً الهوية األكاديمية املحققة وفقا ملتغري عدد أفراد األرسة لصالح عدد األفراد من 6 -8 ، ًّ كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا ً بناء ّ عىل الرتتيب الوالدي ّ واملستوى التعليمي ّ لألب واملستوى التعليمي لألم يف أنماط الهوية األكاديمية.
