Linking digital health divide to HPV awareness, HPV knowledge, and cervical cancer screening among women in the United States: A trend analysis from 2008 to 2017.

The author aims to explore the trend of HPV awareness, HPV knowledge, and cervical cancer screening among American female adults, and the influence of digital health divide throughout the past decade. Data from the 2008, 2013, and 2017 iterations of the nationally representative survey of Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS) were employed for this research. The author found that cervical cancer screening continuously increased in the past decade. Women's HPV awareness and knowledge remain low.
