The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) could require states to report additional health quality data — including more behavioral health quality data, Behavioral Health Business reported Aug. 14. A proposed rule released on Aug. 11, if finalized, would make it mandatory for states to report behavioral health measures on the 2022 Core Set of Adult Health Care Quality Measures for Medicaid.
