The research was carried out with the objective of analyzing the relationship between motivation and teacher identity, in the field of educational institutions, whose legal records belong to the East Peru Educational Association, during the academic period 2021, with the participation of 117 teachers of the levels: initial, primary and secondary, in the context of a quantitative approach and the types: basic, descriptive, correlational and transversal, with the application of two instruments validated according to the universal research protocols: a questionnaire to evaluate the teacher motivation and another to measure teacher identity. Among its results, it is recorded that the statistical analysis of the Spearman's rho correlation coefficient, presents the result of 0.767 and a p value of 0.000 (<0.05); In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the variables investigated, whose relationship is direct; the greater the teacher motivation, the greater the teacher identity. La investigación se realizó con el objetivo de analizar la relación entre la motivación y la identidad docente, en el ámbito de las instituciones educativas, cuyos registros legales le pertenecen a la Asociación Educativa del Oriente Peruano durante el periodo académico 2021. El proyecto contó con la participación de 117 docentes de los niveles inicial, primario y secundario, en el contexto de un enfoque cuantitativo y de tipo básico, descriptivo, correlacional y transversal. Se aplicaron dos instrumentos validados según protocolos universales de investigación: un cuestionario para evaluar la motivación docente y otro para medir la identidad docente. Entre los resultados, se registra que el análisis estadístico del coeficiente de correlación de rho de Spearman, presenta el resultado de 0,767 y un p valor de 0,000 (< 0.05). En conclusión, existe una relación significativa entre las variables indagadas, cuya relación es directa; esto significa que, mientras mayor sea la motivación docente, mayor será la identidad docente.
