Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease caused by infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Based on data from the World Health Organization, in 2016 there were roughly 10.4 million TB cases globally (8.8 million-12 million), which is equivalent to 120 cases per 100,000 population. The five countries with the highest incidence of cases are India, Indonesia, China, the Philippines, and Pakistan. The Health Profile of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2016 said that the highest number of TB cases in Indonesia was in the province of West Java: 52,328 cases. It is thought that family support can improve the success of one's treatment by helping remind the patient to stay diligent in taking their drugs. This study aimed to determine the relationship between family support and medication adherence in pulmonary TB patients at Pademangan General Hospital in 2020. Purposive sampling was used. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and treatment compliance in these pulmonary TB patients (p < 0.001). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
