Study The Efficiency of Irrigation Systems in The New Lands in Dakahlia Governorate ( A Case Study for The Winter Potato Crop ).

This study aims to measure the efficiency of modern irrigation systems used in Dakahlia governorate by comparing modern irrigation systems with the traditional irrigation systems . In addition this study aims mainly at the economic analgsis of the modern irrigation systems established in the arab Republic of Egypt in general and the Governorate of Dakahlia in particular, in order to reach the preferred methods. The lead to the rationalization of the use of irrigation water . The study also aims to estimate the technical productive and economic efficiency of the winter potato crop under the different irrigation system in the new lands of the Dakahlia Governorate . The study recommended the following aims : 1-Expanding the use of modern irrigation systems represented in sprinkler and drip irrigation in the new lands to raise the efficiency of water use .2- The necessity of rationalizing the use of tarry water, not exceeding the water rationing of the winter potato crop .3- Expansion of potato Cultivation in the new lands, using modern irrigation methods .4- The necessity of generalizing modern irrigation systems in the old lands in Dahlia .5- Working to in crease the water supply by developing the current sources of water resources in order to meet the increasing demand for water .6- Putting an appropriate definition on the provision of services so that part of the operating and maintenance casts can be charged to the beneficiaries of these services, this leads to the development of irrigation networks and rationalization of water use .7- Emphasis on adherence to the water recommended by the Ministry of irrigation m as well as the areas designated for agriculture . تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى قياس مدى كفاءة نظم الرى الحديثة المتبعة فى محافظة الدقهلية ، وذلك من خلال مقارنة نظم الرى الحديثة مع نظام الرى التقليدي ، وكذلك تهدف هذه الدراسة بصفة رئيسية إلى التحليل الاقتصادى لمدى كفاءة نظم الرى الحديثة المقامة فى جمهورية مصر العربية عامة ومحافظة الدقهلية خاصة للوصول إلى أفضل الطرق التى تؤدى إلى ترشيد إستخدام مياه الرى. كما أن الدراسة تهدف إلى تقدير الكفاءة الفنية والإنتاجية والاقتصادية لمحصول البطاطس الشتوى تحت نظم الرى المختلفة فى الأراضى الجديدة بمحافظة الدقهلية. وقد توصلت الدراسة لعدد من التوصيات كما يلى: 1-التوسع فى إستخدام نظم الرى الحديثة المتمثلة فى الرى بالرش والى بالتنقيط بالأراضى الجديدة لرفع كفاءة إستخدام المياه. 2-ضرورة ترشيد إستخدام مياه الرى بما لا يتجاوز المقننات المائية لمحصول البطاطس الشتوى. 3-التوسع فى زراعة محصول البطاطس فى الأراضى الجديدة بإستخدام أساليب الرى الحديثة. 4-ضرورة تعميم نظم الرى الحديثة فى الأراضى القديمة على مستوى محافظة الدقهلية والجمهورية. 5-العمل على زيادة المعروض المائى وذلك من خلال تنمية مصادر الموارد المائية الحالية حتى يمكن مواجهة الطلب المتزايد على المياه. 6-وضع تعريفة مناسبة على تقديم خدمات الرى بحيث يمكن تحصيل جزء من تكاليف التشغيل والصيانة والإحلال السنوية للشبكة على المستفيدين من هذه الخدمات مما يساهم بشكل ملموس فى تطوير شبكات الرى من ناحية وترشيد إستخدام مياه الرى من ناحية أخرى. 7-التشديد على الالتزام بالمقننات المائية الموصى بها من قبل وزارة الرى وكذلك المساحات المخصصة للزراعة. 8-العمل على توفير القروض اللازمة والميسرة للمزارعين لإنشاء شبكات الرى الحديثة.
