Evaluation of the Training Programs of the Specialized Center for Professional Teacher Training in Sultanate of Oman from the Points of View of Trainees.

The aim of the study is to evaluate the programs delivered by the Specialized Centre for Professional Teacher Training in Sultanate of Oman from point of view of trainees. The study adopted the quantitative approach using the survey method. To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire was constructed and applied to a sample of 595 trainees male=223, female=372, who completed the training program. Findings revealed high level of satisfaction among the trainees concerning the level of the program. In addition, the study found differences in the degree of evaluation of programs from the points of view of the trainees due to the variables of gender, program types and years of experience. The trainees pointed out that the weaknesses in the programs are due to many tasks required from the trainee, the delay in providing feedback, the results of the evaluation and the lack of accreditation related the certificate given to the trainees at the end of the training. هدفت الدراسة إلى تقييم البرامج التدريبية التي يقدمها المركز التخصصي للتدريب المهني للمعلمين بسلطنة عمان من وجهة نظر المتدربين. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الكمي باتباع أسلوب الدراسات المسحية. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة قام الباحث ببناء استبانة تم تطبيقها على عينة تكونت من 595 متدربا ومتدربة أنهوا التدريب؛ منهم 223 متدربا و372 متدربة، وتوصلت النتائج إلى أن تقييم برامج المركز التخصصي للتدريب المهني للمعلمين من وجهة نظر المتدربين عال، مما يدل على رضا المتدربين عن البرامج، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق في تقييم البرامج تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس، ونوع البرنامج، وسنوات الخبرة. وأشار المتدربون إلى أن نقاط الضعف تكمن في: كثرة المهام المطلوبة من المتدربين، وتأخر التغذية الراجعة، ونتائج التقييم، وعدم وضوح ماهية الشهادة المقدمة بعد التدريب.
