An interview with ritual evangelist Casper ter Kuile in 2021 is presented. When asked on his conceptualization of spirituality, he replies that spirituality is about connection to one's inner self, other people, the landscape, and history. ter Kuile states that his understanding of spirituality and religion as being about what one practices and not what one believes in led him to divinity school. He notes that rituals are formative, the practice of which allows one to become a certain person.
