      The article offers information on the Institute for Mathematical Pedagogy (IMP), which is a well-established annual event, which was held virtually instead of face-to-face in 2020. The first IMP 01 was organized by John Mason and Anne Watson in an Oxford college in 2001 and is held every summer since. It is noted that genuine collaboration may be more difficult to achieve online, but IMP 20 showed how it can happen. It is noted that IMP 20 showed effective, support and learning interactively.
