ازدادت مشكلة النقل داخل المدن وما بينها مع زيادة عدد المركبات وازدحام الطرق وتأثرت العاصمة بغداد بهذه الظاهرة مقارنة مع بقية المدن العراقية ، مما جعل من الضروري القيام بأبحاث ودراسات حول هذه المشكلة والتي تفاقمت في الوقت الحاضر نتيجة ازدياد عدد المركبات مما أدى إلى تعدد مشاكل النقل التي تمت مناقشتها في هذا البحث ومنها مشاكل التلوث بوسائط النقل والذي يعد من اخطر الملوثات على صحة الإنسان والبيئة ، وما تسببه من أمراض خطره على الإنسان كأمراض الجهاز التنفسي فضلا عن ظهور مشاكل أخرى للنقل متمثلة بالاختناقات المرورية وحوادث السيارات الأخرى التي تم الوقوف على البعض منها عن دراسة المنطقة المخصصة للدراسة . يعد هذا البحث كدراسة لمناقشة المشاكل التي يعاني منها الطريق اليوم في مدينة بغداد التي شهدت زيادة سكانية أثرت بدورها على حجم حركة النقل سواء من خلال عدد المركبات أو من خلال الرحلات اليومية المستمرة أو تنوع استعمالات الأرض. Transportation problems in cities and between was in creased by the increasing at the vehicles and road congestions and the capital Baghdad was affected by this phenomenon compared to the rested Iraqi cities making it necessary to conduct research and studies on this problem which has been exacerbated at the present time .as a result at increasing number at vehicles, which at vehicles which led to the multiplicity at transport problems that are discussed in this search ,including pollution by means at transportation which is one at most dangerous pollutions on human health and environmental problems ,and what caused the risk to human diseases such as respiratory diseases as well as the emergence at other problems for the transfer represented congestion and traffic incidents and other traffic that was standing on some at them when studying the assigned area at study. This search as a study to discuss the problems affecting the road today in the city at Baghdad that has been tremendous population growth turn gas affected the size at the transport movement ,both by increasing the number at vehicles or through daily trips persistent or diversity at land use.
