Sacramento County officials in California have embarked on a new plan to address homelessness and to, among other things, expand existing programs for adults and children with mental health disorders. The mental health delivery and treatment system facilitated by unspent Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funding, also known as Prop. 63, will focus on implementing programs under community services and supports (CSS), prevention and early intervention (PEI) and innovation programs.
