Attitudes of Faculty Members Toward the Inclusion of Blind Students in the Light of Some Variables at Taibah University.

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على اتجاهات أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الكليات الإنسانية بجامعة طيبة نحو دمج المكفوفين مع أقرانهم المبصرين. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (١٩٢) عضواً من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالكليات الإنسانية المقيد بها طلبة مكفوفين في الغصل الدراسي الأول من عام ١٦ ١٧/٢٠ ٢٠. واستخدم الباحث مقياس الاتجاهات نحو دمج المكفوفين في التعليم الجامعي. وأشارت نتائج الدراسة مجملة إلى وجود اتجاهات إيجابية بين أفراد العينة نحو دمج المكفوفين، كما أثدارت النتائج إلى ودود فروق نات دلالة إحصائية في اتجاهات أعضاء هيئة التدريس نحودمج المكفوفين ثعزى إلى متغيرالجنس لصالح الذكور وإلى متفير العمر لصالح الأكبر سغآ، وإلى متفير الحصول على دورات تدريبية في تدريس المكفوفين لصالح ممن حصلوا على هذه الدورات، بينما لم توجد فروق نات دلالة إحصائية ثعزى لمتفير الرتبة العلمية. The aim of this study is to explore the attitudes of the faculty members in the humanities colleges at Taibah University toward the inclusion of blind students with their sighted peers. The sample of the study consisted of (192) male and female faculty members in the Humanities Colleges that already include blind students registered in the first term in 2016/2017. The Researcher used "The Attitudes Seale toward the Inclusion of Blind Students at Higher Education". The results of the study showed that there were positive attitudes toward the Inclusion of blind students as a whole. There were statistically significant differences regarding faculty members’ attitudes due to gender in favor of male, age in favor of older age, training courses in teaching blind students in favor of those who got such courses. There were no statistically significant differences regarding faculty members’ attitudes due to academic rank. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
