LA UNIVERSIDAD ESPAÑOLA EN EL MARCO DEL EEES. LA PERSPECTIVA DEL PROFESORADO EMÉRITO. (Spanish)

The Spanish university in the frame of the EEES. The perspective of the emeritus. (English)

This paper conveys the results of a basic and applied research project aimed to recover, systematize and represent the expert knowledge of 105 Spanish emeritus teachers, to increase its visibility and utility for the university and the society. Although the project has a wider scope, this piece of work focuses only on the opinion of this guild about the processes which have lead to the development of the EHEA and its current status at the Spanish universities. The use of two methodologies, "knowledge elicitation" and "knowledge capturing", has enabled the authors to reconstruct the experiences and beliefs of this group of experts: the factors that influenced their professional development and which should be taken into account in the debate about the University in Spain today. Information comes from semi-structured interviews which gathered data on the phases of the development of their professional career, and on the evolution of their view of University, by means of autobiographic narrative. For the qualitative analysis of the data inter and intra-subject categories were established a priori; the quantitative descriptive analysis was performed using the program MaxQDA. The conclusions are in line with previous research in neighbour countries and sheds light on this collective, to date understudied in Spain. As for the applied research, we developed a tool in collaboration with the IHMC institute of Florida, which enabled us to make explicit the knowledge built by this collective, and enhance is utility for both the university and the society. Este artículo se basa en un proyecto de investigación básica y aplicada que recupera, sistematiza y representa el conocimiento experto de 105 profesores eméritos españoles, con el objetivo de hacerlo visible y útil para la universidad y la sociedad. De todas las cuestiones que aborda el estudio, en esta ocasión se presentan los resultados respecto a las opiniones de este colectivo sobre los procesos puestos en marcha en relación al EEES y su valoración del estado actual de la universidad en España. El empleo de metodologías "knowledge elicitation" y "knowledge capturing, ha facilitado la reconstrucción de sus experiencias y creencias, que han influido en su práctica académica, y que deberían tenerse en cuenta en el debate sobre el panorama actual de la universidad española. La recogida de información se ha realizado mediante entre vistas en profundidad y semiestructuradas, que han permitido empleando la narración autobiográfica, identificar fases de su desarrollo profesional y las variaciones que han experimentado sus ideas, en torno a la universidad. El análisis de los datos intra e inter-sujetos, se ha basado en el modelo de categorías prefijado, con una orientación cualitativa y estadística convencional, empleando el soporte informático MaxQDA. Las conclusiones, en la línea de investigaciones precedentes realizadas en otros países europeos, aportan nuevos datos sobre un colectivo poco estudiado en España. Finalmente, la investigación aplicada desarrolla un dispositivo informático, en colaboración con el Instituto IHMC de Florida, que permite visibilizar el conocimiento construido por este colectivo, y hacerlo útil para la universidad y la sociedad.
