The article presents a case study of a 25-year-old man who was diagnosed with Influenza infection. It notes that intravenous Vitamin C (IVC) infusions proved to be effective in treating acute viral infections because Vitamin C accumulates in phagocytic cells such as neutrophils, and can enhance chemotaxis, phagocytosis as it possesses anti-viral activity. The study confirms the effectiveness of ascorbic acid against viral infections.
