      This article seeks to systematize some reflections arising from a doctoral research which aims to understand the process of professional development from the perspective of statistical literacy in collaborative contexts, revisiting one of the study group meetings made up of teachers and future teachers of Childhood Education and the early years of Elementary School, which constituted a collaborative context over time. At the meeting described the emphasis was to introduce the study of Statistics. The same was chosen because we consider important to highlight the knowledge, reflections, conflicts and learning from participants during the introduction to the study of statistics. During the study of a text, we aimed to broaden, deepen and reconstruct the knowledge, trying to clarify precisely what has changed as a result of participation in a collaborative context.       Este artigo busca sistematizar algumas reflexões decorrentes de uma pesquisa de doutorado, cujo objetivo foi compreender o processo de desenvolvimento profissional na perspectiva do letramento estatístico em contextos colaborativos, buscando revisitar um dos encontros de um grupo de estudos formado por professores e futuros professores da Educação Infantil e anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental que, com o tempo, constituiu um contexto colaborativo. No encontro descrito, a ênfase foi para a introdução ao estudo da Estatística. O mesmo foi escolhido pois consideramos importante destacar os saberes, as reflexões, os conflitos e as aprendizagens dos participantes, durante a introdução ao estudo da Estatística. Nesses momentos em que estudamos um texto, objetivávamos ampliar, aprofundar e reconstruir os saberes, evidenciando, justamente, o que mudou, em consequência da participação num contexto colaborativo.
