      A reprint of the article "Legionellosis Protection Requirements," by Jonathan Flannery, which appeared in the winter 2015 issue of "Inside ASHE" journal, is presented. Topics discussed include the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Standard 188 which concerns legionellosis risk management for water systems of buildings, environmental conditions that cause legionellosis, and the compliance of health care facilities to this standard.
