      This article focuses on proteomics seminar titled "Networking Proteins for Biology and Medicine," that would be held in February 2004 in the U.S. This symposium will focus on the application of proteomic techniques to biological problems. Recent innovations in mass spectrometry and informatics have vastly increased our ability to identify and catalog proteins expressed by a given organism or cell type, and to compare protein expression as a function of environment or disease state.
