Q&A: The nanomaterials designer.

An interview with nanomaterials designer Ali Yetisen is presented. When asked about the materials he makes he said he designs photonic materials that will in response to environmental cues change color, along with holographic sensors which alter hue in response to glucose, salts, pheromones, and other chemical parameters. He states the materials could be printed on fashion items instead of using dyes and mentions how wearable electronics and biosensors are being embraced by sportswear companies.
