      1050 Patienten wurden präoperativ vor Cholezystektomie mittels Gastroskopie und bei gegebener Indikation auch ERCP untersucht. In 43% der Fälle ergaben sich pathologische Befunde, aufgrund dieser hohen Rate ist die Gastroskopie präoperativ indiziert. Die ERCP erfolgte bei 47% der Patienten (Indikation: erhöhte Cholestaseparameter und/oder Ikterus und/oder sonografisch dilatierte Gallenwege), davon in 77% mit pathologischem Befund. Die Komplikationsrate lag bei 55 bei diagnostischer und 8,4% bei interventioneller ERCP. Man kam zu dem Schluß, daß die präoperative ERCP bei einem selektionierten Patientengut mit vertretbarem Risiko indiziert ist.
      1050 patients were examined before cholecystectomy via gastroscopy and in case of given indication via ERCP as well. In 43% of these cases the gastroscopy showed pathological findings which suggest the gastroscopy being indicated before cholecystectomy. ERCP was performed in 47% of the patients (indication: elevated enzymes (GammaGT and AP) and/or jaundice and/or a dilated choledochus in ultrasound examination), 77% of them with pathological findings. We found a complication rate of 5% in diagnostic ERCP and 8,4% in interventional cases.
