نبذة مختصرة : The MusiCare dataset derives from an exploratory randomized controlled trial (RCT) investigating the effects of different music therapy formats on healthy aging. The study enrolled cognitively healthy older adults and randomly assigned them to one of three music therapy conditions (one-to-one, small-group, and large-group) or a passive control group. Participants underwent pre- and post-intervention assessments, including standardized cognitive measures (e.g., Music Cognitive Test, Trail Making Test, Verbal Fluency), psychological and wellbeing questionnaires (e.g., Geriatric Depression Scale, Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale, Sleep Quality Index), and selected physiological measures. The dataset contains de-identified participant-level data , including demographic variables, baseline and post-intervention scores across cognitive, wellbeing, and psychosocial domains. MusiCare was conducted between as part of a collaborative project involving Middlesex University, and partner organizations in community and care-home contexts (Methodist Home, University of the Third Age).
