Research Problem: Patients having Hodgkin's lymphoma are typically treated with chemotherapy, which is toxic to the human body. The chemotherapy treatment period presents various physical and psycho-emotional challenges that require significant monitoring and evaluation. While the literature often discusses the impact of chemotherapy on individuals, the nursing needs and psycho-emotional state of Hodgkin's lymphoma patients receive less attention. Research Objective: To evaluate the changes in the psycho-emotional state and nursing needs of patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma during chemotherapy. Research Questions: 1. To identify the nursing needs of patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma during chemotherapy. 2. To assess the psycho-emotional state of patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma. 3. To investigate the factors that influence changes in psycho-emotional state. Research Methods: Systematic literature analysis and qualitative study. The semi-structured interview guide, composed by the author herself, was used for data collection. Deductive qualitative content analysis was applied for data examination. The study involved eight respondents diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Results: During the study six women and two men were interviewed. It was observed that women are more inclined to communicate and express their feelings and experiences during treatment compared to the men. During the result analysis it was discovered that various body systems are affected during chemotherapy treatment, leading to numerous negative sensations in both physical and psychosocial conditions.
