      In this research it is to analyze the process of teaching practices Literacy to the Early Childhood Center II in the Miss Travesuritas with children four to five years. Teaching practices meet the needs and interests of children, because they facilitate the involvement of stakeholders in the educational process. It allows teachers to analyze and reflect on their teaching regarding planning, methodologies, teacher-student interaction, assessment tasks. Ie rethinking the content and knowledge in vocational training and training for updates, to meet new educational challenges. As for literacy this is important in the evolutionary development of children because it allows the acquisition of literacy skills to function in a particular context; transforms the lives of children by allowing them to achieve levels of social communication that contribute to the development of their skills and abilities in the expression of thought, categorizing reality, knowing yourself and your relationship with the environment and society. For conducting qualitative research methodology we were used, and non-participant observation and field diary records and registration form, an interview with the teachers was also conducted. The results of the investigation determined that the practices of teaching reading and writing are addressed by the teaching materials used and the various activities related to the acquisition of the items. ; En esta investigación se pretende analizar el proceso de las prácticas de enseñanza a la lecto-escritura en Inicial II En el Centro Infantil Miss Travesuritas, con niños de cuatro a cinco años de edad. Las prácticas de enseñanza responden a las necesidades e intereses de los niños y niñas, porque facilitan la intervención de los actores en el proceso educativo. Permite al docente analizar y reflexionar de su trabajo pedagógico en relación a la planificación, metodologías, interacción del docente-estudiante, tareas y evaluación.
