Artificial intelligence (AI), with its innovative approaches to medical device quality management that align with sustainability goals, is revolutionizing the healthcare sector. The healthcare industry struggles to optimize device lifecycles and reduce ecological footprints, despite being a major contributor to energy consumption and environmental waste. This article evaluates the major influences of AI in building a sustainable healthcare ecosystem by tackling these problems with lifecycle optimization strategies, real-time surveillance, and proactive maintenance. Important AI innovations are discussed, such as predictive algorithms, big data analytics, and Internet of Things (IoT) integration, which show how they can optimize equipment. The study showed that AI-powered methods in the healthcare sector promote a circular economy, which not only enhances service quality but also advances the Goals Of Sustainable Development. Significant future instructions include developing ecofriendly AI models and collaborative frameworks to scale these developments globally. This multidisciplinary approach demonstrates the critical role AI plays in coordinating technological advancements with environmental stewardship, enabling a more resilient and sustainable healthcare system. This article also highlights the need for AI models that balance computational efficiency and low carbon emissions in order to be eco sustainable. Future directions place a strong emphasis on developing collaborative frameworks to scale these innovations globally.
