      Several documents have been produced, historically, to guide and prescribe how language teaching should be in schools, more specifically, how to addressreading, writingand linguistic analysis. Among these documents, the National Curricular Common Base has beenrecently approved. In this context, this article aims to discuss the proposal of Portuguese language teaching put forward bythe National Curricular Common Basebased onthe analysis of the document whichdeals with the axis of linguistic analysis and reflection, specifically for elementary education 2. It also seeks toidentify theconception oflanguage in this document. Hence, based on the theoretical contributions of the enunciative-discursive perspective, we analyze the BNCC texts whichrefer to the prescriptions related to the field of Portuguese Language in order to 70Eutomia, Recife, 23(1): 69-87, Jul. 2019identify: 1)thelanguage conceptionproposed for the teaching of Portuguese, and 2) theguidelines prescribed by the document in terms ofteachingoflanguage analysis in Portuguese classes. Our analyses indicate that there are contradictions between the conception of language put forwardby the document and the prescribed skills that will guide the work with linguistic analysis in schools. ; Diversos documentos têm sido produzidos, historicamente, para orientar e prescrever como deve ser o ensino de língua nas escolas, mais especificamente, o trabalho com a leitura, produção e análise linguística. Dentre eles, encontra-se, mais recentemente, o texto recém-aprovado denominado de Base Nacional Comum Curricular. Diante desse contexto, o presente artigo tem como objetivo discutir a proposta de ensino de língua portuguesa contida na Base Nacional Comum Curricular a partir da análise do documento que trata do eixo de análise e reflexão linguística, especificamente para o ensino fundamental 2, bem como identificar a concepção de língua que se faz presente neste documento.
