نبذة مختصرة : This research addresses the topic: The (un)educational dimension of technical assistance and rural extension of Ruraltins in Miracema do Tocantins, and has the general objective: To know the educational character of rural extension and technical assistance practices carried out by Ruraltins in the city of Miracema of Tocantins. Aiming specifically: To know about rural extension and its phases in Brazil; identify and describe Ruraltins and its work in the municipality of Miracema do Tocantins; Characterize the educational dimension of the work of Ruraltins articulating it with rural workers and peasants involved in this process. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, we asked: Do rural extension and technical assistance carried out by Ruraltins in the municipality of Miracema do Tocantins educate rural workers and peasants involved in this process? It is a qualitative and documentary investigation in order to be aware of the intensity and nature of the problem and was mediated by a field research carried out using interviews with Ruraltins technicians and rural workers assisted by this public agency. Therefore, we used scientific research as a methodology and as a procedure bibliographic and field research, in which the data collection instrument was a questionnaire in semi-structured digital format containing ten questions, applied to two Rural Extensionists who work at Ruraltins de Miracema of Tocantins. It is important to highlight that only one of the research subjects returned the completed questionnaire in a timely manner.
