Matemática em ação : reflexões do experimento “ateliê de matemática” no ensino fundamental ; Mathematics in action : reflections of the experiment “ateliê of mathematics” in the fundamental teaching

O artigo é um recorte de uma pesquisa de mestrado em Ensino de Matemática que consistiu no desenvolvimento de uma sequência de atividades de caráter interdisciplinar, a partir de estruturação teórica e metodológica, seguida da experimentação em uma turma dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola municipal situada no Rio Grande do Sul. O objetivo principal da pesquisa foi analisar como os estudantes, a partir de diálogos e comunicações, produziam e argumentavam sobre matemática. Utilizaram-se como fundamentação teórica para as análises e reflexões sobre a prática as ideias de Jean Piaget e Lev Vygotsky. A pesquisa de cunho qualitativo e definida na modalidade de pesquisa-ação fez com que o professorpesquisador envolvido nas atividades observasse, analisasse e refletisse sobre suas ações e também sobre as produções matemáticas dos estudantes. A título de conclusão para a pesquisa destaca-se que o trabalho coletivo na sala de aula além de oportunizar momentos de aprendizagem valoriza o desenvolvimento da postura autônoma dos estudantes diante de situações que exija reflexão a respeito da matemática utilizada. ; The article is a cross - section of a master 's research in Mathematics Teaching that consisted in the development of a sequence of activities of interdisciplinary character, starting from theoretical and methodological structuring, followed by experimentation in a class of the final years of Elementary School Rio Grande do Sul. The main objective of the research was to analyze how students, from dialogues and communications, produced and argued about mathematics. The ideas of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky were used as theoretical basis for the analyzes and reflections on the practice. Qualitative and defined research in the researchaction modality made the researcher involved in the activities observe, analyze and reflect on their actions and also on the mathematical productions of the students.
