Cross-cultural translation and adaptation of the index of professional nursing governance to the brazilian context ; Tradução e adaptação transcultural do index of professional nursing governance para o contexto brasileiro

Objective: to perform cross-cultural translation and adaptation of the Index of Professional Nursing Governance (IPNG) to the Brazilian context. Method: this is a methodological study to be developed in six phases: 1) Translation of the instrument into the Portuguese language; 2) Synthesis of translations; 3) Translation of the instrument back into the source language (Back-translation); 4) Submission of the back-translation synthesis to the author; 5) evaluation by a committee of judges; 6) Pre-test. Expected results: to provide an instrument translated and adapted to use it in the Brazilian context that measures the governance of professional nursing practice. The Brazilian version of the INPG can be useful in the evaluation of the hospital management structure and the level of autonomy of the nurse, providing subsidies for teaching and research in nursing management. RESUMO Objetivo: realizar a tradução e adaptação transcultural do Index of Professional Nursing Governance (IPNG) para o contexto brasileiro. Método: estudo metodológico a ser desenvolvido em seis fases: 1) Tradução do instrumento para a língua portuguesa; 2) Síntese das traduções; 3) Tradução do instrumento de volta para o idioma de origem (Back-translation); 4) Envio da síntese da back-translation para o autor; 5) Avaliação por um comitê de juízes; e 6) Pré-teste. Resultados esperados: disponibilizar um instrumento traduzido e adaptado para uso no contexto brasileiro que mensura a governança da prática profissional de enfermagem. A versão brasileira do INPG poderá ser útil na avaliação da estrutura de gestão hospitalar e o nível de autonomia do enfermeiro, fornecendo subsídios para o ensino e a pesquisa em gestão em enfermagem.
