The research was carried out with the objective of understanding the use of ICTs for learning the curricular component of Natural Sciences in state schools in the urban area of the city of Humait??-Amazonas. To this end, two procedural researches were carried out with a qualitative approach, namely: and, a field survey, where teachers of Natural Sciences and students of the 9?? grade of elementary school were invited to answer an online questionnaire. Through documentary analysis, the limited presence of ICTs was understood, namely, as a material resource to administrative and pedagogical activities, and without representation of use for the teaching-learning process of curricular components. The analysis of the perception of the teachers of Natural Sciences revealed the recognition of ICTs, however, through the analysis of the teachers??? posture, it was noticed the uncertainty of the inclusion of ICTs in the teaching-learning process in the classroom, due to the execution of laws prohibitive. It is concluded that ICTs are present in the school context, but are not used by many teachers, nor by the majority of students for the learning of Natural Sciences due to paradigms established at school by past legislation. O uso dos recursos tecnol??gicos ganhou significativa aten????o no contexto escolar, devido ao processo de massifica????o dos equipamentos eletroeletr??nicos no cotidiano das pessoas e da incorpora????o, quase que impositiva, ao longo dos ??ltimos anos, tamb??m no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. A pesquisa foi realizada com o objetivo de compreender o uso das TICs para a aprendizagem do componente curricular de Ci??ncias Naturais nas escolas estaduais da zona urbana da cidade de Humait??-Amazonas. Para tanto, realizou-se duas pesquisas procedimentais com abordagem qualitativa, a saber: uma pesquisa documental, onde se pode obter e analisar cinco Projetos Pol??tico Pedag??gico; e, uma pesquisa de campo, onde os professores de Ci??ncias Naturais e os estudantes do 9?? ano do ensino fundamental foram convidados a responderem um question??rio online. Por meio da an??lise documental, compreendeu-se a presen??a limitada das TICs, a saber, como recurso material de aux??lio para as atividades administrativas e pedag??gicas, e sem representa????o de uso para processo de ensino-aprendizagem dos componentes curriculares. A an??lise da percep????o dos professores de Ci??ncias Naturais revelou o reconhecimento das TICs, por??m por meio da an??lise da postura dos docentes, percebeu-se a incerteza da inclus??o das TICs no processo de ensino-aprendizagem em sala de aula, devido ?? execu????o de legisla????es proibitivas. Conclui-se que as TICs est??o presentes no contexto escolar, mas n??o s??o usadas por muitos professores, nem pela maioria dos estudantes para a aprendizagem das Ci??ncias Naturais devido a paradigmas estabelecidos na escola por legisla????es passadas.
