      A fermented food product or food supplement comprising a vegetable substrate fermented by a probiotic blend is disclosed. The fermented food product or food supplement according to the invention is useful in particular for improving natural maternity, lactation and baby weaning. The invention also discloses a process for the preparation of the fermented food product or food supplement comprising the fermentation of a vegetal substrate with the probiotic blend.
    • Claim:
      1. A food item comprising 0.5 wt. % to 5 wt. % of a fermented product, the fermented product obtained by: performing a first fermentation, by inoculating a plant substrate with Lactobacillus rhamnosus; and performing a second fermentation by inoculating the plant substrate with a probiotic blend comprising Lactobacillus gasseri and Bifidobacterium breve.

      2. The food item according to claim 1, wherein the weight percentage of the fermented product is from 2 wt. % to 5 wt. %.

      3. The food item according to claim 2, wherein the weight percentage of the fermented product is 3 wt. %.

      4. The food item according to claim 1, wherein the weight percentage of the fermented product is 1 wt. %.
