نبذة مختصرة : This paper describes the experience applied with the project Maluquinho por Futebol – Uma Tabelinha entre o Português, a Matemática e a Educação Física in the State School Maria Augusta Silva Araújo, in the city of Muriaé - MG, specifically developed with students of the Full Time Education Project of the 6-9th year of elementary school, of both sexes, aged 11 and 14, during the months of October and November 2013. The project intended to awake students desire to read through the life and works of Ziraldo, especially “O Menino Maluquinho”, in an interdisciplinary way with soccer, seeking to encourage the improvement of reading and writing skills, as well as to incorporate and improve these habits in students’ daily lives. All activities were developed in a theoretical and practical way in the classroom, the library, computer lab, outdoors and in the school’s gym, with Portuguese, Mathematics and Physical Education workshops. The monitoring took place through the grade book, Module II notebook and educational meetings. The culmination was through art, cultural and sportive exhibitions at the school, with the participation of the whole school community. These activities were carried out by the coordinators through observations. The evaluation process was guided by principles that evidenced the rising levels of reading and writing habits among the students. ; O presente trabalho visa relatar a experiência aplicada com o Projeto Maluquinho por Futebol – Uma Tabelinha entre o Português, a Matemática e a Educação Física na Escola Estadual Maria Augusta Silva Araújo, da cidade de Muriaé - MG, especificamente desenvolvido com os alunos do Projeto Educação de Tempo Integral 6 a 9°ano do ensino fundamental, de ambos os sexos, com idades entre 11 e 14 anos, durante os meses de outubro e novembro de 2013.
