نبذة مختصرة : What is Philosophy of religion? How to do it? The answer to both questions is important to determine the difference between Continental philosophy of religion and Analytic philosophy of religion. In many ways, the second deals with the old problems of Classical metaphysics and it claims to bring new answers to these problems, or to give them the same answers but in new guises. The first seeks to draw from certain philosophical decisive events, particularly "the end of metaphysics," a very different way of talking about God, if this is not simply impossible, and it often considers religious experience as unspeakable. Do we then deal with two exclusive areas without in-between nor possible dialogue, or should we try an ecumenical reconciliation of opposites? A meta-philosophy of religion examines what means "philosophy of religion", whether Continental or Analytical, and what we can expect of it.
