      Tektoniczna interpretacja profilów podłużnych rzek karpackich Longitudinal profiles of 14 Carpathian rivers were analysed and compared with their theoretical analogues. It was found that there is a distinct relationship between the shape of theoretical profile of the river and the deep structure of the Carpathian substratum, the location of the main dislocation zones and the areas subjecting to young tectonic movements.
