Cuidados paliativos e enfermagem: um olhar para dentro

Palliative care is becoming increasingly relevant in health systems to meet the need for care for patients facing problems associated with life-threatening diseases, their families and people of all ages with severe health-related suffering, especially those near the end of life. Looking inward makes us reflect on palliative care and nursing, the misalignment between specific nursing education and graduate training, and the need to define skills that directly affect care and highlight the training, management, and research demands in caring for these patients and their families.
