      The article focuses on a study about the cultural and community perception of students. The study was conducted by Newark, New Jersey-based Willow School and North Star Academy Charter School. It is reported that the study led students to confront their assumptions and biases, compare cultures, determine what constitutes culture, and identify what are universal elements in culture and community.
