ORAL HEALTH ASSISTANCE TO THE GENERAL AND HOMELESS POPULATION IN FORTALEZA, CEARÁ, BETWEEN 2021 AND 2022. (English)

The present research aimed to analyze the management of care in oral health services aimed at the homeless population (PSR) and general population (PG) in the city of Fortaleza, state of Ceará, during the years 2021 and 2022. It deals with This is a documentary, retrospective study, with a quantitative approach. Information on oral health care for PSR and PG was collected through TABNET/DATASUS, municipal demographic census and health information system for primary care (SISAB). With the tabulation, a total of 186,069 PG and 2,653 PSR were evaluated within the adopted time frame. Procedures such as extraction of permanent teeth, supragingival scaling, removal of bacterial plaque, dental restorations and topical application of fluoride were the most prevalent data in PG. Dental pain and gingival inflammation are present in PSR. Although there have been advances in the oral health care system, there is still a need to increase access to preventive care. Therefore, continually monitoring and evaluating the performance of PSR and PG services must be recommended, adapting strategies according to changes in demands and health conditions. A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar o gerenciamento da assistência em serviços de saúde bucal destinados a população em situação de rua (PSR) e população geral (PG) no município de Fortaleza, estado do Ceará, durante os anos de 2021 e 2022. Trata-se de um estudo documental, retrospectivo, com abordagem quantitativa. Foram coletadas informações sobre a assistência em saúde bucal de PSR e PG por meio do TABNET/DATASUS, censo demográfico municipal e sistema de informação em saúde para a atenção básica (SISAB). Com a tabulação, um total de 186.069 PG e 2.653 PSR foram avaliadas dentro do recorte temporal adotado. Procedimentos como exodontia de dentes permanentes, raspagens supra gengivais, remoções de placas bacterianas, restaurações dentárias e aplicação tópica de flúor foram os dados mais prevalentes na PG. Dor de origem dentária e inflamação gengival se fizeram presentes na PSR. Embora tenham ocorridos avanços no sistema de assistência em saúde bucal, ainda se faz necessário o aumento no acesso a atendimentos preventivos. Desse modo, monitorar e avaliar continuamente o desempenho dos serviços de PSR e da PG devem ser preconizados, adaptando estratégias de acordo com as mudanças nas demandas e nas condições de saúde.
