The article presents updates from the World Health Organization on the implementation of preventive chemotherapy (PC) against neglected tropical diseases (NTD) in 2022 and status of donated medicines for NTDs in 2022-2023. Information is provided on PC implementation in Africa, the Americas, Eastern Mediterranean, European, South-East Asia and Western Pacific regions. It cites examples of the integrated treatment coverage for PC and reasons for supply chain management challenges for NTD drugs.
