ANATOMY OF THE BULGARIAN ECONOMY: AN INDUSTRY-BASED ANALYSIS. (English)

The following study aims to examine and assess the structure of the Bulgarian economy for the period 2010 to 2020. The structure of an economic system can be analyzed through different indicators but the most commonly used one is the total product created by the industries of the national economy. The study is based on the shares of total product for each of the 19 industries in Bulgaria, measured by the information of the inputoutput model and provided by the FIGARO tables. The results of the study provide a comprehensive overview of the industrial makeup of the Bulgarian economy, highlighting the contributions of each sector to the country's total output, as well as the main trends of the development of the national economy and the priority industries in it. The findings reveal important insights into the performance and potential of the Bulgarian economy, and can be used as a valuable guidance for policymakers, investors, and other stakeholders seeking to understand and engage with this dynamic market.
