  The article discusses research which evaluated national and city-by-city associations among historical neighborhood disinvestment, hazardous air pollutants, and adult asthma prevalence. The study presents descriptive statistics of neighborhood context characteristics by Home Owners' Loan Corp. grades in the U.S. Findings revealed respiratory hazards and self-reported adult asthma prevalence in historically disinvested neighborhoods.
