Workplace Harassment.

Workplace harassment may involve behaviors such as verbal assaults, physical assaults, bullying, mobbing, humiliation, intimidation, rape, or sexual harassment and assault. Harassment may target individuals or groups of people such as women, minorities, or LGBTs. Depending on extent and levels of intensity, impacts of workplace harassment may lead to threats to employee health and/or financial status, high employee turnover, low productivity, employer recruitment difficulties, high job dissatisfaction, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicide. Workplace harassment may also have implications far beyond the individual and her/his workplace, leading to job shortages in critical fields.
