      The findings so far have indicated that user violence is common, especially in the family services. Users in the field of domestic violence commonly do not willingly seek the services, resulting in violent behaviour towards practitioners. Several models for working with involuntary users, and guidelines for working with users' violence were developed. Organisations are obliged to ensure safety for their staff. Trauma-informed care and supervision may be used. It has been shown that practitioners mostly experienced tense situations with elements of psychological abuse. Some practitioners did not report to be influenced by violent behaviour, while others experienced negative consequences on their well-being, work or personal life. Practitioners developed their own approaches to ensure their safety. Some also used elements of models for working with involuntary users. Organisations ensured safety with supportive, physical ways and by forming violence prevention plans. It has been suggested that practitioners should be educated about how to work with users' violence and involuntary users. Organisations should reflect on their work culture. Not only support and safety of the employees, but also respectful attitude towards users should be ensured. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      Dosedanje raziskave so pokazale pogostost nasilnega vedenja uporabnikov na področju dela z družino. Vstop uporabnikov v proces pomoči na področju nasilja v družini je v veliki meri neprostovoljen, to pa se lahko kaže tudi v nasilnem vedenju do zaposlenih. Avtorji so razvili pristope za delo z neprostovoljnimi uporabniki in smernice za delo z nasiljem uporabnikov. Organizacije so dolžne poskrbeti za varnost osebja. Uporabna sta lahko pristop, temelječ na razumevanju travme, in supervizija. Raziskava je pokazala, da so bili zaposleni deležni predvsem napetih situacij z elementi psihičnega nasilja. Na nekatere zaposlene napete situacije niso posebej vplivale, na drugih pa so pustile negativne posledice na počutju, delu in v zasebnem življenju. Zaposleni so oblikovali lastne načine skrbi za varnost, povezane predvsem s spretnostjo vodenja pogovora, med katerimi je bilo prepoznati tudi elemente pristopov dela z neprostovoljnimi uporabniki. Organizacije so za varnost poskrbele s podpornimi in fizičnimi načini ter oblikovanjem varnostnih načrtov. Priložnosti za izboljšanje se med drugimi kažejo v izobraževanju zaposlenih o tehnikah dela z nasiljem uporabnikov in z neprostovoljnimi uporabniki ter v usmerjenosti organizacij - z maksimalno podporo zaposlenim in s spoštljivim odnosom do uporabnikov.
